14 June 2015: Funks Grove Illinois. Funks Grove is located along historic Route 66, south of Bloomington Normal and north of McLean. The small town still has an old but non-functional railroad depot, a country store and grain storage and processing facility. A mile west, is the grove, a country church, outdoor chapel, nature center, cemetery and hiking trails. The maple trees in the grove are tapped late every wither for sap which is turned into sirup
