NCAA FOOTBALL:SEP 22 Danville v Normal Community West

22 September 2006: A thunderstorm vacated the area atjust about the scheduled game time, forcing the kickoff back about 45 minutes. In that 45 minutes, fans slowly started to fill the stands. Most remained away from the metal bleachers and stood near the gate and concession stand observing the compete rainbow that for a brief period of time was a double rainbow. The attraction formed east of the field and behind the school.

The Normal Community West Wildcats went on to defeat the Danville visitors.
